Interested in learning more about the Shabbat service?

Want to better understand the meaning of the prayers?

Seeking a way to participate in the Jewish community, but feeling disconnected or uninformed?

Come for an engaging and accessible exploration of the basic structure of the worship service and the meaning of key prayers. 

The Learner’s Services will be led by a Kol Ha’Emek member, Bob Braitman, who has written a book on the subject. Each session will cover a different part of the service, but stand on its own, so feel free to come to one or all. The initial session will offer an introduction to the basics of Shabbat prayer.
