Shabbat Contemplative Morning Service

During the coming year, we will be holding a series of contemplative Shabbat morning services that feature meditation, prayer, chant, and Torah study. The contemplative service offers a slower pace and an opportunity to explore Jewish spirituality as it relates to Shabbat as a day of rest and renewal. Other dates: March 3, 2018 and June 9, 2018. Our Shabbat morning services begin at 10:00 A.M.

Torah is chanted by Rabbi Boraz, with Sam Zucker and Betty Lauer serving as gabbim. Our rabbi encourages members of the community to lead parts of the service they are comfortable leading.

Immediately after services, usually at about noon, there is always a delightful kiddush prepared by members of the community on a rotating calendar.
