Please join us for  Opera North’s performance of Love is in the Air: “Shakespeare Sings!”

Performance begins at 8 pm, doors open at 7:45 pm. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 (see below) or at the door (cash and check only). 

Celebrating the Bard in love, romance and song. From Cole Porters “Kiss Me Kate”, Rodgers and Hart’s “Boys from Syracuse” to Verdi’s “Macbeth” and “Gounod’s “Romeo and Juliet”, Shakespeare’s plays and themes have inspired composers for hundreds of years.

There is a UVJC Pre-party beginning at 6:30 pm which includes wine and hearty hors d’oeuvres.  Pre-party and performance tickets $75.
